| mixrice Channel 01 왜 오랜 친구들을 내쫓으려 하는가? Why willing to kick out old friends? 믹스라이스 채널은 한국사회에서 소외 계층인 외국인 노동자들에게 자기표현 및 발언을 할 수 있는 기회를 만들어 주기 위해 시작된 믹스라이스의 프로그램 중 하나이다. 믹스라이스 채널은 2002년 12월 3일 대안공간 풀 전시장에 마련된 세트에서 네팔, 미얀마 이주 노동자 샤누, 뚜라, 쉬디, 어르준씨와 처음 시작하였고, 그 동안 순회 상영회와 집회, 지역축제 장소에 무대를 만들어서 이주노동자와 소통의 장을 마련해 왔다. 채널을 진행하면서 만든 이 영상작품은 인터뷰 형식으로 제작 되어졌으며, 외국인 이주노동자들이 한국에서 겪게 되는 다양한 이야기를 통해 이들의 현실과 더 나아가 한국 사회의 단면을 들려주고 있다. Mixrice channel is one of the programs of Mixrice to give an opportunity to express them as well as speak for themselves who we considered as isolate class, foreign workers. A set had been provided by Alternative space Pool and gave its first presentation on December 3rd 2003 by Shanu, Ttyu, Shidi and Urjun who were immigrant workers from Myanmar and Nepal and up to this point, there had been screening tours, meetings and regional festivals as to provide a communicative field for immigrant workers.
